About Me
With over 20 years’ experience in commercial interiors, I design spaces that work properly, functionally, commercially and inclusively.
My background spans workplace, hospitality and heritage projects, but the common thread in my work is creating well resolved interiors that are considered from the outset, not treated as an afterthought. I bring a strong understanding of layout, furniture, procurement and on site delivery to every project, ensuring that design intent translates into practical, deliverable solutions.
I began my career in workplace design and contract furniture, spending ten years with one furniture led practice and a further nine years as lead designer within another established furniture and interior design company. During this time, I delivered a wide range of commercial projects and developed an in depth understanding of furniture specification, budgeting and the realities of delivering projects on site.
This foundation shapes how I approach design today. I think holistically about how a space will function, how it will feel, how it will be built and how it will be used long after completion. I am known for being realistic, thorough and calm under pressure, and for making complex projects feel clear and manageable.
In 2024, I launched Rhian Worgan Interior Design, working independently with clients and collaborating closely with architects, contractors and consultants across the UK. I work both directly with commercial clients and as part of wider project teams, offering flexible, hands on design support at any stage of a project. Clients often tell me they value how closely I listen, how clearly I communicate, and how carefully I resolve the detail.
Inclusive design has become a central focus of my work in recent years. Through personal experience, supporting my son who has autism and ADHD, and witnessing the challenges faced by my visually impaired mother in law, I have seen first hand how poorly considered environments can exclude. This has reinforced my belief that thoughtful design decisions, even small ones, can significantly improve how people experience and use a space.
I care deeply about creating environments that are not only aesthetically strong, but practical, inclusive and commercially sound. I believe interiors have the power to shape behaviour, wellbeing and connection, and that responsibility should never be taken lightly.
